Swordman Kitala is a very prolific and multi
talented MC from Gabagaza, Uganda. He started to sing as a youngster at school, which led him to learn about hip hop and started to develop his own technique.
Going from hip hop, dancehall, reggae, bass
music and more, mixed with the Ugandan music
and culture, gives him a very unique style and
flow to create and perform some heavy
bangers.
He has evolved into more genders, performed and collaborated with artists from around the globe. O’Flynn, Tom Blip, Still, Moganjah, Soft-Bodied Humans, K-lone, Slikback, Pambulo, are just some of them. He has diversified his musical spectrum and has been recognized as a highly skilled musician.
He has been working with Makabila Umoja since
the beginning, making a strong connection and
friendship that keeps flowing and giving great
